The process

01
Application
You send your application through the Contact form, including the different kinds of support you’ll be requiring for your projects. With that information, I evaluate if the Sidekick is a good fit for your needs and ask any follow-up questions that come up.

Agreement
Once we’re on the same page, I send over our 3-month agreement and the invoice for the first month to get you officially booked as a Sidekick client.

Kickoff
I send over our shared Customizations Wishlist and Code Portal links, so you can start adding requests to be taken care of in order of priority. I’ll get started with them at the beginning of the month.

Collaboration
We’ll begin checking off tasks from your to-do list like there’s no tomorrow throughout the entire 3-month period. Each month I’ll send over a Check-in video to give you an overview of what was done and where to find the reusable code for it inside the Code Portal.

Review
Near the end of the 3-months, on the last Check-in, you’ll be able to decide whether you want to renew the service for another 3 months or part ways.

Yes!
Even when the customizations that can be done in 7.1 may not be possible in 7.0 (or require more time), I’m more than happy to evaluate the “doability” of your client’s 7.0 site requests.

Just a few:
A 2h minimum.
A Squarespace site, wether live or in trial mode.
Your completed Customizations Wishlist when sending over your inquiry.
Administrator access to the corresponding site(s) after booking your Buildout Day.

I’m afraid that’s not possible.
In certain cases, after reviewing the Wishlist, I may recommend hopping on a call to discuss any design aspects that aren’t clear. However, the Wishlist still needs to have been completed beforehand.

It varies throughout the year, but you can expect a minimum waiting time of 2 weeks.

Unfortunately, that’s not possible at the moment.
The Buildout is completely asynchronous to allow for better focus and efficiency.

To make sure you’re covered after the implementations have been made, you’ll have a total of 10 days of support via email after your Buildout Day where you can let me know if something went wrong so I can take care of the problem!

If you’re looking to make a minor change, I’ll take care of it for you within the post-Buildout support period!
If the change goes beyond a minor change or falls outside of the scope of the original Buildout project, an additional fee will be required and its implementation will depend on calendar availability.

You’ll have the Buildout Guide to do it yourself!
Depending on the customizations implemented, I’ll provide helpful settings so you can alter sizes, colors, spacing, fonts, etc on your own.
I’ll also show you the step-by-step needed to add/update content to your new customizations, if there are any specific elements to take into consideration.
Plus, whenever possible, I’ll also provide a user-friendly way to reuse the same look across the same kind of block/section anywhere else on the site!
Please note: if what you’re looking to modify requires restructuring the customization or code, or applying it to a different section/block layout other than the kind previously tackled, a new Buildout project will need to be booked.
